100% of the achievements would probably take closer to 3-6hrs depending on a player’s difficulty with achieving the PAR times on each level or trying to do the game on HARD which has a time limit even lower than the standard PAR times. In my test I could probably have obtained 22/35 of the initial achievements ideas (not PAR times or HARD) in 2hrs. With all said Frogger 2 Is the sort of game whereby on NORMAL you could probably finish the main game in a little under 2 hrs on a first play.
I’m also pretty unsure on the whole achievement scoring for each at the moment, really they are preliminary for the time being. Also as far as core story levels go, whilst the Training level is “technically” a level, I see it more as a level 0.Ĭould make each of the 4 unlocked characters and each of the 3 extras a different achievement but the methodology behind unlocking characters in Frogger 2 follows the following ideology starting from collect all 25 coins in 10 Core levels (after completing a specific retro level) and continuing until collect 25 coins in all 16 Core levels so it feels to me like that may be too easy an objective. I have separated level achievements by chapters, whilst frogger 2’s idea of separating levels into chapters is to have some chapters have 2 levels and others only have 1 level and so on in random so a more consistent methodology such as groups of 4 levels seem more friendly on the surface, The story mode itself doesn’t explicitly tell you the level names for each chapter from the main menu's chapter select screen without entering the retro arcade so going by the games story layout is likely going to be less confusing in the long run.
